For Automotive Service and Repair Students at NSCC

Stephen LeBlanc was an inspiring young man who knew what his goal in life was and worked hard to achieve it. He struggled in school but with encouragement from family, friends and teachers, graduated from NSCC in 2013 with an Auto Service and Repair Certificate.

As a young teen, Stephen developed a passion for cars, especially high-end vehicles. He strived to know everything about them. He entered his first car in show and shines and enjoyed being part of the auto scene. Stephen’s vision was to become a high-end mechanic, working on the very cars he was so passionate about.

His persistence, interest and eagerness found him his dream job at Coffill’s Auto Repair LTD in Canning. They immediately recognized in Stephen the same interest and enthusiasm they had for their cars and job. They knew he was the right man to join their crew.

It is hoped this award will capture Stephen’s spirit by supporting a student graduating from the Automotive Service and Repair Program at a Nova Scotia Community College who exemplifies the same passion, energy and enthusiasm for automobiles.

To be eligible for this award, applicants must be enrolled in the Automotive Service and Repair Program at a Nova Scotia Community College with a demonstrated financial need.
