
The Lt(N) Andrew Franklyn Webster Scholarship was established in 2014 to honour the late naval officer who passed away while serving on HMCS Toronto. Andrew was a graduate of Dartmouth High School, and the Royal Military College, and always spoke fondly of his time at Dartmouth High.
One $2,000 scholarship will be awarded annually to a Dartmouth High Grade 12 student who embodies Andrew’s qualities as an all-around student who enjoyed academics, sports and friends, and who plans to attend an accredited post-secondary university or technical college in Canada. The recipient will be selected by the Dartmouth High scholarship committee.
As a graduating student of Dartmouth High, you:
Extracurricular Activities: are an active participant in school sports, clubs, student council and/or volunteer activities.
Financial Need: must demonstrate a need for financial support to attend post-secondary education.
Support of Fellow Students: are friendly, compassionate and caring to your fellow students.
The deadline for applications is May 26.

The scholarship will be awarded once the Community Foundation of Nova Scotia has received proof of registration and attendance at a post-secondary institution.
