The Eastern Shore Community Fund provides an opportunity to support organizations that are vital to building stronger, more inclusive communities along the Shore.
The Fund provides a vehicle to contribute directly towards sustaining our rural communities and enhancing the quality of life for all residents along the Shore. We welcome donations large and small to create a long-term endowment fund to support organizations and communities along the Shore. A community committee will review applications annually and distribute the interest generated by the fund.
How the fund works
The fund is administered by a committee of dedicated community members who:
- Spread the word about the fund, and its long-term potential to help develop the area.
- Actively engage with others to understand the needs and opportunities of our area.
- Review requests and allocate grants from the fund to local community organizations.
