The Duncan White Basketball Scholarship was established to honour the legacy of Duncan White. Duncan was concerned about the financial barriers that students often face when participating in school sports.
He wanted to ensure that students could enjoy the same enriching experiences he had growing up, particularly playing basketball with friends and teammates. The Duncan White Basketball Bursary aims to support Horton High School students who encounter financial obstacles in pursuing athletics, especially basketball.
