A legacy for the Bridgetown area to forever remember a special young man
A kind, enthusiastic, optimistic, team player and a caring individual is how Colin Chipman is described. At just 13, Colin had made a lasting impression on his classmates, school and community before he lost his life in an ATV accident in 2001. He had a true passion for life and found great enjoyment in whatever he was doing. Colin was a natural athlete and loved all sports, but his greatest passion was hockey. Colin touched many people with his kind heart and big smile.
The Colin Chipman Memorial Fund was established by Colin’s parents, Margie and Robert, so his legacy will forever live on in the Bridgetown area. Each year, the Fund will support charitable activities within the Bridgetown area that best reflect Colin’s character.
The Colin Chipman Memorial Fund is a proud part of the Bridgetown Area Community Fund, an endowment fund created by local residents to enhance the well-being of the Bridgetown area by supporting the social needs and broad interests of the community including culture, education, arts, heritage, health, sport, recreation, and other cornerstones of this vibrant area.
